About the Journey…
This Journey is like a special retreat. It was born of the need for us to close the gap we often feel between God and ourselves. We want that closeness with God – the loving, fulfilling union that we may have felt only during special moments – to be with us always.
God loves you. During the Journey, you will be invited to have a closer, personal, loving and permanent relationship with God. He can be with you, by your side every day, teaching you how to truly love the people in your life and resolve burdens and feelings that separate us from Him. You can renew an inner connection with the Lord. He can be with you, strengthening and enriching your life.
How does the Journey work…
At a St. Peter's Parish Journey you will hear talks on spiritual themes given by a priest and by devoted lay people. There will be small group discussions with other members of the team and your fellow travelers to talk over challenges and difficulties that we often encounter in living our faith.
The Parish Journey with God places special emphasis on developing a loving, direct and personal relationship with the Lord, one that is with you every day, a relationship that goes from the head to the heart.
Time for meditation is provided with an emphasis on reconciliation and the renewal of your faith. This is an opportunity to grow closer to the Lord no matter where you are in your walk with Him. The Parish Journey with God is for everyone in St. Peter's Parish. This Journey will help you strengthen your relationship with God and it will strengthen the St. Peter Parish Family.
