Activities & Purpose:

The purpose of St. Peter's Parish Council of Catholic Women shall be to give glory to Almighty God through prayer, study and service for your parish community and the community in which we live.

Our objective is to serve the needs of the women of our parish and to unite all women of St. Peter's Parish in spiritual, educational and social activities.

Members serve and donate food for funeral dinners and aid financially with the needs of the altar and sanctuary. Some other activities that PCCW members are involved include the following:

  • Coordinates the Annual Soup/Chili Cook off with the Knights of Columbus
  • Hosts Membership Events to acclimate women to our parish
  • Assists the pastor both spiritually and financially with the needs of the parish
  • Donates to various organizations/groups each year such as 8th grade high school scholarships, St. Frances Food Pantry, and Matt Talbot Kitchen Membership.

Membership is open to all women of the parish, age 18 and older, who subscribe to the purpose and objectives of St. Peter's Council of Catholic Women and who pay annual dues ($5.00 per year). Women may be Members-at-Large or Circle Members.

Members-at-large do not attend meetings but are invited to join in the spiritual, education and social activities of the parish. The members at-large coordinator contact is can be contacted about any Cathy Earhart at 423-6573.

Circles: St. Peter's Parish is currently comprised of six circles. Circle members are also members of PCCW. Each circle is comprised of a group of women with a declared purpose and objective.
