INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCHEDULING PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES USING PICKATIME
You can begin making appointments on Thursday, September 24 beginning at 6:00am. PickAtime will be available to schedule conferences through 11:59pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2020.
Important Note: Due to COVID, we would like to minimize exposure for all in the building. Therefore, we ask only those involved in conferences to attend. All are asked to wear masks.
Please read these instructions carefully because when you click on the following PickAtime link “Schedule Parent/Teacher Conferences,” you will be asked for the following information:
Accessing PickAtime
We have a strong preference for meeting in person, but realize there are some families for whom a meeting via Zoom would be preferable or needed. If you need to meet via Zoom, sign up for a slot on PickAtime as you normally would AND email your child(ren)’s teachers to request a Zoom link. Teachers will send a specific link for each Zoom conference.
Changes
If you want to make changes to your schedule, you can log in at any time (between Sept. 24-Oct. 6) with your email and password. There are links to modify the time, or cancel the appointment. If you have any questions or problems, please contact the office at 402-421-6299.
Conference Time Lengths
Grades PK-5: 15-minute conference
Grade 6: 10-minute conference; conference with homeroom teacher required; conference with the other 6th grade teacher is optional.
Grades 7-8: 5-minute conference; choose which teachers you would like to visit. Appointments are required – no walk up conferences.
*Grades 4-6 conferences are student-led. Students in Grades 7-8 should attend conferences with their parents. All other conferences are for parents only. *For some grade levels, Optional Conferences are available for Art, Computer, Music, PE, and 5th Religion.

Accessing PickAtime
- Go to the Pick A Time online scheduler.
- Enter your email address and enter or create a password, then push “Login/Create Account”.
- Fill in the required fields and register.
- All students have a 6-digit Student ID number. You must use your student’s info from the white label (below) to schedule appointments. For each child, enter his/her StudentID (found on the white label), and their Security Value (birth date) in the correct format, which is M/D/YYYY. Example: If your child’s birth date is May 8, 2012, then you will type 5/8/2012. If the screen indicates the Security Value for the birth date is incorrect, please contact the school office at 402-421-6299 to confirm your child’s birth date.
- Click on either October 8 or October 9.
- Continue to add a student until you have added all your children who attend St. Peter School.
- Each colored square represents an available meeting time. The legend shows you what teacher corresponds to what color and the times increase as you go down the page. Note: You will not see all of the teachers, just the teacher of your child(ren.) See chart below for conference time lengths. Click on a square to book the time you want to schedule. You may schedule appointments back to back.
- After you set when you want the reminder email to be delivered, click “Create Appointment”.
- Repeat until you have a time scheduled for each of your children.
- When you have finished scheduling your conferences, you will have the option to print or receive an email reminder. Print the schedule and bring it with you to conferences.
- After you are done, click “Logout”.
- You will receive an email from PickAtime confirming all of your appointments.
